For decades, OFI experts have been involved in the testing and evaluation of coating materials and systems in order to safeguard the functions of surfaces. All relevant parameters of paints and coatings are tested, including the evaluation of the respective substrate.

With our know-how, we are available to the industry as a partner for many surface-relevant issues – from material selection and normative requirement reviews to damage analysis.

  • artificial weathering and/or aging as well as outdoor weathering, e.g.
    • by means of QUV or xenon lamps, e.g. “Kalahari” and “Florida Test
    • Sun simulation test DIN 75220
    • Climate change tests on coated components in the range -70°C to +150°C on component dimensions up to (4000x2400x2000)mm
