Specific authorisation is required for any materials and products intended to come into contact with drinking water, e.g. pipes, tubes, containers, sealing or coating. We perform all tests and analyses that are necessary in this context.

Competence and experience

  • Active participation in national and international standardisation bodies
  • Research activities in the areas of material optimisation and development of test procedures, e.g. to examine effects on drinking water quality caused by the migration of phenols and amines from drinking water piping; development of test methods for determination of bacterial contamination of pipe material in contact with drinking water
  • Accredited testing and inspection body in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17025, EN ISO/IEC 17020
  • Accredited certification body in accordance with EN 45011
  • Acknowledged testing and inspection body of ÖVGW, DVGW, SVGW (Austrian, German and Swiss Associations for Gas and Water)
  • Authorisation in accordance with the Austrian Food Act (LMSVG)
