In the research project “AeroMobil”, the Austrian Research Institute for Chemistry and Technology (OFI), Güssing Energy Technologies (GET) and the Center for Social Innovation (ZSI), all three members of Austrian Cooperative Research (ACR), are working on the development of a new type of testing facility. In future, this should make it possible to assess the air purification of different room concepts under real conditions. In combination with a mathematical simulation model, it should be possible to make precise statements about the potential risk of infection in indoor spaces.
In order to learn more about the challenges faced by affected industries – from filter manufacturers to the automotive industry and catering businesses – the project partners are inviting participants to OFI on April 23, 2024, from 9 a.m. onwards. The workshop aims to facilitate discussions and idea exchanges regarding indoor air quality and hygiene. The insights gained from the workshop will directly inform the “AeroMobil” project.
