Progress – with a clear profile

The Austrian Research Institute for Chemistry and Technology (ofi) is structured as an association. The association members are for the most part Austrian and European companies and institutions. The fact that today ofi has over 300 members in Austria and abroad clearly demonstrates the identification and connection of relevant industries with the institute.

All job-related tasks such as testing, monitoring, certifications, assessment and development work are performed by ofi Technologie & Innovation GmbH. As an accredited company, it is a full subsidiary of the ofi Research Institute.

In December 2006, Eurofins - ofi Lebensmittelanalytik GmbH was founded by Eurofins Scientific SA and ofi Technologie & Innovation GmbH as a joint subsidiary for food analysis and assessment.
